Eligent has developed and patented a new system for electrical installations that makes the installation more predictable, easier to keep track of, more convenient and more efficient. Using the system therefore gives both electricians and contractors a better workflow and significant savings.

Eligent also makes it possible to use stylish, low-profile cover plates that transform electrical installation materials from a necessity into a tasteful design detail that helps give the home its character.

By delivering significant benefits across the entire value chain, our ambition is for Eligent to become the preferred standard for electrical installations globally.

Eligent was founded in 2022 with a plan to simplify electrical installations and create the world's best electrical materials. In September of the same year, we filed our first patent application. In 2025, we were granted a patent on all 15 of our patent claims. Over the years, we have received support from Innovation Norway on four occasions. We have also raised more than 25 million from private investors, mainly electrical installers and suppliers. In 2024, we entered into innovation partnerships with Bravida, Norgeseliten and Bergård Amundsen, which have helped us adapt the products to the needs of the market. In the spring of 2026, our first product was approved by Nemko.

In a time of constant and rapid change, both geopolitically and structurally, it is important for us to be a lean, flexible and forward-leaning organization. Instead of taking on high risk through continuous hiring, we prefer to find the very best suppliers to solve the tasks we face. That gives us access to the most skilled experts and their centers of expertise. At the same time, we can easily and quickly adapt to a shifting market and world picture.
